The project
This campaign balanced cinematic storytelling with authentic player moments, resulting in engaging content that resonated across digital and social platforms. Working within a tightly scheduled shoot, I directed/coordinated multiple stakeholders, including talent management, production crews, creative teams, broadcasters, and brand representatives to ensure every aspect of the production ran seamlessly. A key focus was capturing natural dialogue delivery and genuine interactions, helping Pat appear confident, relatable, and authentic on camera while maintaining the campaign's strategic messaging. With limited access to the venue and talent, every shot was meticulously planned to maximise efficiency without compromising creativity. Fast decision-making, clear communication, and real-time problem-solving enabled the team to deliver high-quality content under demanding turnaround times. The final campaign combined dynamic visuals, cinematic pacing, and compelling storytelling to create a polished body of work that elevated the brand while showcasing one of Australia's most recognisable sporting icons.
